The elderly man is a wise sage.
He advises to turn life's page.
Do not lament nor rue one's reality.
With age comes the inevitable frailty
Of organs and strength, of legs and arms.
Bask in the mind's eye of remarkable charms
As it recalls enjoyable events and places
Of still scintilating vivid retraces.
Do so with prayerful requests for the certainty
Of the Lord's peace and joy for eternity.
