About MVP Journal

Rodin's creation of "The Thinker" was inspired by the societal cauldron that fueled Dante's "Divine Comedy". Seated on a precipice adjacent to Dante's visionary ''Gates of Hell", Rodin's "The Thinker" watched the whole scene of the Inferno, brooding in contemplation. His athletic body is twisted in tension from his head down to his curled toes, suggesting a tough intellectual struggle. While the right muscular arm supports the pensive head, the left hand is open, as if ready to grasp the reality of his vision and to act.

The inner struggle portrayed by "The Thinker" symbolizes the analytical musings of Dr. David Kamper. Only if our society will again confront the truth – so disdained by conventional thinking – of the destructive path our nation has chosen to take, and correct our course into the future, can we hope to experience a new era of peace, harmony, prosperity, and well-being.

It is hoped that this Journal will, in some pertinent way, reawaken the hibernating morals, values, principles, and faith that our great nation was built upon. Only as these values reignite within our individual, and collective hearts, minds, and spirits can we hope for the re-birth of a strong nation.
